Sergeant in Sheriff's Office Arraigned on Cocaine Trafficking Charge
The Middlesex District Attorney's Office alleges that Michael Dell'Isola accepted cocaine and $500 from an undercover Mass State Trooper.
A sergeant with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Department was arraigned Wednesday on drug charges after he allegedly received cocaine and money from an undercover state trooper, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone announced in a press release. Michael Dell’Isola, 51, of Somerville, was arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on a charge of trafficking cocaine. First Assistant Clerk Magistrate Matthew Day ordered the defendant held on $1,000 cash bail. His next court date is July 20 for a pretrial conference. In April 2011, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office received information regarding Dell'Isola's alleged trafficking, the press release said.
