1. The History of Newton Highlands. Historic Newton's series "A City of Villages" will continue tonight with a presentation on the history of Newton Highlands, "The Ideal Village." The free presentation will be held at the Newton Free Library and starts at 7 p.m. 2. Red Carpet Awards. NewTV will host its annual Red Carpet Awards tonight at NewTV studios from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. 3. Art exhibit opening reception. The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology will host a reception tonight for the opening of its new art exhibit, "A Celebration of Haitian Resilience."
