Volunteers Needed to Serve on Newton Historical Commission

The city is currently looking for volunteers to serve on the Newton Historical Commission. According to a memo posted in the city's weekly Planning Department Update, the commission serves as the city's preservation planning body and has the responsibility of: Residents who are interested in Newton history, historic preservation, archeology and architectural history are encouraged to apply.
