A knife-wielding suspect reportedly robbed the Sunoco Service Station in Newton Centre on Sunday, April 28. According to Newton Police reports, officers were dispatched to the service station (325 Boylston St.) just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday for reports of an armed robbery. The reporting party told police she was going about her day in a usual manner when the suspect walked through the door with a knife pointed at her. The suspect told the woman to "open the register" and "go faster." The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s, average height with brown eyes. Updated 2:56 p.m. Newton Police say they are still investigating earlier reports of an armed robbery on Jackson Street. Police say they responded to a call Thursday night of a man who said he was robbed at gunpoint while he was walking down Jackson Street, behind the Fortune Panda restaurant. The alleged victim now has given police at least two different stories of what happened that night. Lt.
