A new tradition started in Nonantum yesterday: a spring farmers' market. The market, which runs from noon-5 p.m. on Tuesdays, is an extension of The Garden City's summer farmers' markets. Familiar faces could be spotted at yesterday's grand opening as well as some new vendors. A group of crafters, a new offering at the spring markets, set up tables with unique jewelry, pendants and hand-blown glass. The spring farmers' market will run until June 28. The summer farmers' markets, which take place at Cold Spring Park on Tuesdays and Post 440 on Fridays, begin the first Tuesday after the Fourth of July. The summer market runs through the end of October. For more information on the markets, contact Dore at email@example.com.
