One week after a Newton elementary school teacher was arrested on child pornography charges, a Newton Free Library staffer has been arraigned on similar charges in Newton District Court. Peter Buchanan, 47, of Newton, was arrested Tuesday and was charged with two counts of child pornography dissemination and three counts of possession of child pornography. Newton District Court Judge Dyanne Klein ordered Buchanan held on $5,000 cash bail ($50,000 surety) and is in custody.
