For the second time in a week, Newton Police are reporting an apparent road rage incident that resulted in one driver pulling out a gun. According to police reports, the Newton Police Department received information from the Wellesley Police Department around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding a road rage incident on Route 9 that involved one driver showing a black handgun. The victim, who initially reported the incident to a Wellesley detail officer, told police he was driving on Route 9 westbound when another driver brandished a black handgun at him near the Elliot Street intersection in Newton.
