Five months after Needham-based Bulfinch Cos. purchased the Atrium Mall in Newton, there are just a few more breaths of retail life left in the shopping center. Patch has received a few questions from readers about the property and decided to look into the status of the Atrium Mall for You Ask, Patch Answers. According to Tina Snyder, director of marketing for Bulfinch, there are three stores left in the mall: Janie and Jack, Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn. WS Development, the firm that owns the shopping center, announced three new businesses will be moving in to the new space on the former Macy's site.
Pottery Barn, Polarn O. Pyret and Treat Cupcake Bar will soon be joining the lineup at Newton's Chestnut Hill Shopping Center. According to a press release issued by the shopping center's owner, WS Development, the three new retailers will open in spring 2013 as part of a new building currently being constructed on the former Macy's site. “We’re delighted to bring Pottery Barn, Polarn O.
