Boston College Marching Band Performs in Inaugural Parade

The 'Screaming Eagles' band had a chance to play for President Barack Obama on Monday during the inaugural celebration in Washington, D.C.

While the season may be over for Boston College's football team, the school's "Screaming Eagles" Marching Band was hard at work yesterday during a very important performance. And no, the gig wasn't in Alumni Stadium. The marching band was one of nearly 60 groups who performed in yesterday's Inaugural Parade for President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C.  The 155-member band performed BC's fight song, "For Boston," according to Boston College's Office of News & Public Affairs.  A C-SPAN video caught the Screaming Eagles in action, just behind the Massachusetts 54th Volunteer Infantry Regiment. “This will be the most prestigious performance in the band’s history, given what this day means to our country,” Marching Band Director David Healey …
