Authorities believe man tried to sexually assault a woman in a parking garage.
Updated 11/24 with additional information from Newton Police Newton Police are looking for a suspect in an attempted sexual assault in a parking garage early Thanksgiving morning. According to a press release issued by the Newton Police, a 49-year-old woman was getting out of her car on the second level of the Crowne Plaza parking garage around 12:30 a.m. when a man approached her with a handgun. The man, who reportedly spoke with "a Russian or Romanian accent," threatened the victim "to let him perform a sexual act on her or he would kill her."
