Newton's Turtle Lane Playhouse Closes its Doors
The Auburndale theatre spot has canceled its scheduled production of "Jesus Christ Super Star."
After more than three decades in Newton, the Turtle Lane Playhouse in Auburndale has officially closed its doors. The local theatre company announced the closure on its website Tuesday, Feb. 5: Turtle Lane has closed its doors today and canceled our last scheduled production. We would like to thank all of our patrons and subscribers for these last 32 years and also all of the wonderful actors who have come through these doors.
