Project Bread's 2012 Walk for Hunger is just a couple of days away, and those heading through Greater Boston could hit a bit of traffic while they're out and about on Sunday. Sunday's walk is a 20-mile route that passes through Boston, Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Cambridge. More than 40,000 people will participate in the event, which kicks off at 9 a.m. on Boston Common. The MBTA provides free rides to anyone traveling with a walk guide or online registration certificate between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sunday.
