Newton-Wellesley Hospital Welcomes First Newton Baby of 2012
Cooper Alistair Durken was the first baby from Newton born at the hospital in 2012.
As many people were heading back to work and school yesterday morning, Newton-Wellesley Hospital welcomed the first Newton baby born in 2012. Cooper Alistair Durken was born yesterday, Jan. 3, at 9:09 a.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 6 ounces. Cooper is the third child of Kallan and Timothy Durken, of Newton. He is also the baby brother of sisters Quinn, who is almost 2-years old, and Parker, who is almost 4-years old. On Jan. 1 at 3:05 a.m., a couple from Revere had the hospital's first baby of 2012. Adriana Juric was born to parents Jason and Maja Juric.
