Hit and run. They come, not from Newton, they stay for a couple years, during which they presume to dictate what lifelong Newton residents can and can't say about goes on in Newton, and then they hit the road for greener pastures and shrug off Newton as "no longer my concern".

I didn't find Melanie particularly responsive, I won't regret her leaving. I will be as critical of your handling of Newton issues as I am of hers.

Art of dance, while preserving positive self-image. Are such things possible? What a glorious age we live in!

It's very odd that they should make announcements telling passengers that they should think twice about committing assault. I would prefer they told people not to think once about committing assault.

But then, I ain't got no PhD like Dr. Scott. She sure do know lots of Big Words! Words like egregious and mitigating and feasibility. She got smarts, so she must know what she's doing. Right now I'm going to think twice about committing assault. I might even think about it three or more times. Who am I to argue with smartyheads?

This was a referendum, not an election. There were no candidates, nobody was elected. It was a vote, but not an election.

In fact, if they wanted to make the judging fairer, what they should have done is repost each submitted video on the Newton Has Talent channel itself, that way number of Subscribers to any contestant's channel would have less of an effect on the number of votes on their video, although even that would still have an effect.

This is kind of like having X-Factor or American Idol winners judged by the television viewing audience rather than judges panel, except not even quite that fair, since contestants with more personal contacts can send out mailings asking people to vote for them.

These videos are in a playlist, so when you click any one of them you just have to click the right arrow at the top right corner to go through all the videos, so you don't have to click each individual link if you want to see all the contestants.

The judging system is a bit weird. Who gets the most YouTube thumbs up has other factors than just Newton judging, since anyone in the world can vote on them, and who already has the biggest base of YouTube fans on their channel can greatly affect how many votes they get.

The best one was Ada Moisescu, and not just because her name begins with AdaM. Though that could be an omen.

This is not exactly integrity journalism. The Patch takes too much delight in posting prurient based articles.
So, the whore had a stun gun. Can you blame her? Is that not at least wiser than carrying a regular gun that could kill and seriously injure someone? And in her situation would you not also feel the need to carry some sort of personal protection device?

Why don't you write some serious articles concerning the reasons WHY a 23 year old would resort to prostitution? Could it be that physical prostitution is not so very much different than the intellectual prostitution the writers and readers (yeah, that includes myself) of this website are constantly engaged in regarding the tone and purpose of what we write or read?

Might it even be on some level worse to engage in intellectual prostitution than physical prostitution?
It is reprehensible that you would post the accused's home address. Absolutely reprehensible, and if you need it explained to you why it is reprehensible, then you seriously need to take as long as it will take you to sit down and think it out.
