Austin Pollack is a senior at Newton South High School. While not writing for Patch, Austin enjoys writing for his school newspaper, <i>The Lion's Roar</i>, as well as spending time with friends and family. Austin has two family dogs: Max, 8 and Tommy, 3. Aside from his life as a writer and student, Austin spends Saturday afternoons coaching a 7th grade basketball team with two of his friends. During the football season, he competes in a fantasy football league with his friends from school. After two seasons of failing to have a winning record, Austin finished the 2010 season with a 10-3 record!
