Born in Arizona and moved to Northern California at the age of 10. What a shock; coming from dry hot weather to cold and foggy. After graduating from high school, I moved to San Francisco and attended Heald’s Business School. I soon realized I was a people person, not one to be confined every dayin an office. Soon developed a career in child photography. Loved the children and had so much fun interacting with them and their parents. After a few years, I knew I enjoyed watching and seeing people achieve their goals. When my husband and I, and children came to this area, we had the most wonderful person, Susan, find us a home in the area in which we decided, with her help, we wanted to reside. She was truly awesome, and was a deciding factor for me to obtain my real estate license. We became best friends, and when I received my real estate license in 1972, we later became partners. In 1978 I passed the testing for my broker's license. Throughout the years, I worked in sales and as a manager. What higher satisfaction than assisting people locating a home they love, the environment and the community that fits their lifestyle. I had the opportunity to be one of the very first few to join Alain Pinel Realtors in opening their first office. What a ride! Retired in 2008 and founded Amour d’Art the same year.

I always had a love for art and purchased my first piece in 1978 for $500, a significant amount in those days. I opened Amour d’Art gallery in Los Gatos in 2012 on Santa Cruz Avenue, Los Gatos. We are now online and liquidating all art. I am looking forward to retiring full time and spend time with my daughter and grandson who live in Pennsylvania.

P.S. Still have the first art piece from 1978.
