Dennis Mayer, Neighbor

Dennis is a Cambridge-based freelance writer and editor who also dabbles in photography and graphic design. He's worked as a newspaper and magazine writer and editor, and has served as communications director for a real estate development firm and a Boston City Council campaign.

Dennis is an expatriated South Jersey native who has lived in the greater Boston area for the past nine years, ever since coming to Boston University as a freshman in the fall of 2001.  (He graduated in 2005 with a degree in journalism.) Despite all this time in Boston, he remains loyal to the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, and (despite his better judgement) the Eagles.  Outside of writing, he works as a bartender. In his spare time, he cooks, plays piano and guitar, gardens, and rides a motorcycle.
