Joan Koffman, Neighbor

Joan Koffman is the mom of a NNorth Senior, an avid quilter, and real estate attorney who has helped people buy and sell homes for the last 30 years.

"It's a very personal kind of work," said Koffman, who with her partner of 26 years, Nancy Dreyer, has what a client recently labeled a "MOM and MOM style business."

"We know our clients and have followed many of them from their first condo  to their current dream house. Working from home while talking to buyers and sellers ABOUT their homes....well, that just the perfect way to spend a work day," she said.

Despite her status as a "realestateaholic," which impels her to check local listings and roam through Open Houses weekly,  Koffman does find time to swim, read, and work in the garden, when she's not negotiating contracts.  

She says the firm website sums it all up well:  "We are two lawyers, passionate about real estate, who return phone calls."
