Marian Ferro grew up in Watertown, left for a time, and moved back about 10 years ago. She was a staff writer for The Beat, a Boston-based music magazine and she wrote a monthly music column for the New England Entertainment Digest. She worked as a freelance writer and published articles in The Boston Globe and The Somerville Journal, as well as in other print and online publications. She has a master's in journalism from Boston University and a bachelor's in political science from Tufts. She enjoys music, politics, and spending time with her birds.
