See the Winners of the Newton City Election

Voters chose their favorites for mayor, Aldermen, School Committee and more.

Setti Warren won re-election for mayor in Tuesday's Newton City Election, which also had races for Aldermen and School Committee. 

Warren got 8,282 votes, well ahead of challenger Ted Hess-Mahan's 3,331.

Deborah Crossley and Brian Yates won the vote for Ward 5 Alderman-At-Large with 5,333 and 4,575 respectively. Challenger Christopher Steele had 3,994.

In the race for Ward 1 Alderman Alison Leary won with 770 votes, ahead of Alan Ciccone's 478. Emily Norton won the Ward 2 Alderman seat over Eve Tapper, with 1,046 votes to 995, respectively.

In the Ward 2 School Committee race, Margaret Albright got 4,616 votes, and Andrea Steenstrup got more than 4,030.
